It’s a nerdy role because we’re a pretty nerdy company. You’ll be in WordPress Elementor, and Google Analytics on the daily. We’ll train you to build websites using an Elementor template and troubleshoot in CSS and HTML. We will train you in Google Ads, SEO fundamentals and get you across what real marketing looks like. We want you to grow with our team and will provide training but you’ll need to have a fire in your belly to learn fast and the motivation to work hard. 


Your primary role will be monitoring our support queue and receiving inbound support calls and emails from our clients. You’ll be our first level of support and be measured on the speed, accuracy, and service you provide to resolve our clients’ issues. We will train you to ensure you have the tools to answer the calls and you’ll have a team around you providing support. It’s the best possible role to start your career.

BUT, you must be a nerd with a personality and a passion for excellent customer service.  Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in our digital team or web development team so we want you to be curious and have a growth mindset.. We’ll support you in developing your knowledge but to be a true A grader in the 3BY2 team you’ll invest in learning and tinkering because that’s how we truly grow.

Your role will be based in our Rondebosch office in Cape Town; after completing probation, we will consider a hybrid role: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Technical Support

  • Monitor and manage the technical support desk.
  • Handle inbound support calls and emails.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Provide clear and effective instructions

Digital 

  • Monitor Pay Per Click Campaigns
  • Monitor and Update Client Google Ads accounts 
  • Complete detailed SEO tasks as instructed by our Digital Lead and, over time, learn to make recommendations and suggestion optimisations on your own.
  • Monitor social media accounts and provide updates to the delivery team.
  • Analysis reporting and lead data to provide insights to the delivery team for client meetings

     Content Management

  • Manage and update website content using WordPress CMS.
  • Ensure content is visually appealing and formatted correctly.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility.
  • Communication with users regarding technical problems and solutions.

Maintenance and Updates

  • Complete regular reviews on website front-end functionality and report tickets for any errors to be resolved by the technical team.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and development.

User Experience and Accessibility

  • Ensure websites are accessible and compliant with web standards.
  • Optimise websites for different devices and browsers.

Requirements:

  • A sharp analytical mind that thrives on finding solutions and troubleshooting problems.
  • A track record of customer service.
  • Extremely strong spoken English language, you’ll be speaking to Australian-based clients on the phone. 
  • Great attention to detail with pride in getting excellent outcomes.
  • Experience in WordPress websites is desirable
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Experience with Elementor theme
